Fat freezing, also known as cryolipolysis, is a non-surgical way to remove stubborn pockets of fat by cooling them until the fat cells die. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than your skin, nerves, or muscles. When exposed to precise cooling, fat cells crystallise and die through a process called apoptosis – without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than your skin, nerves, or muscles. When exposed to precise cooling, fat cells crystallise and die through a process called apoptosis, without damaging any surrounding tissue.
Each session is straightforward and comfortable. Soma Laser uses 2 applicators simultaneously, treating two areas in a single visit.
A handheld applicator uses a vacuum to pull a bulge of fat into a cooling cup. Two applicators allow two areas to be treated at the same time.
The device cools the fat to a precise temperature of -5 to -7 degrees Celsius and holds it there for 45 to 75 minutes.
You may feel intense cold, pulling, or stinging for the first 5 to 10 minutes. The area then goes numb and most clients relax, read, or use their phone for the remainder.
The fat cells do not disappear instantly. After they die, your lymphatic system gradually processes and flushes them out as waste over the next 2 to 4 months. This is why results appear progressively and peak at around 12 weeks.
Best suited for pinchable fat on the belly, love handles, thighs, arms, and under the chin.
