Briony Allen
Owner
The owner of Soma Laser & Skincare Clinic, completed her degree in Somatology at The Pretoria Technikon in 2004. She started working with lasers when she was a student, decided then to work overseas on a cruise liner for 8 months and finally joined the Dermalogica team for 2 years where she gained valuable knowledge and work experience. Briony has been in the health & skincare industry for over 15 years, working with laser hair removal for 10 years. She’s passionate about the Dermalogica brand and has acquired a Gold Status Premium recognition from them. She is truly passionate about Dermalogica skin care, Lamelle skin peels, micro-needling (dermaroller) vein cauterization and electrolysis.

Meet Dané, who always greets you with a beautiful smile and manages all the admin in Soma Laser.
Gladys
Nail Technician
Gladys has been with Soma Laser & Skincare Clinic since 2010. She is a qualified nail technician, specialising in Bio Sculpture and Progel nail systems, and takes greats pride in her services ensuring your hands and feet will feel and look amazing. Gladys will also always thread and shape your brows to perfection! She has been awarded her specialist status level to perform the most relaxing and gentle Dermalogica facial making your skin feel amazing.
Kholofelo
Nail Technician
Kholofelo joined Soma Laser & Skincare in March 2013. She has been a qualified nail technician for 10 years, specialising in acrylic and gel nails, ensuring that when you step into her hands you will leave looking fabulous! In the past 4 years Kholo completed her facial training at Dermalogica, has reached her expert status level and has developed a true love for skincare and treating her clients to Dermalogica facials and Lamelle skin peels.
Jo-Leigh
Skincare Therapist
Meet Jo-Leigh, she is a qualified somatologist, having completed her degree at the Isa Carstens Academy in Pretoria.
She is deeply passionate about people and love helping them feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Jo-Leigh has also completed her international CIDESCO exams and enjoys performing a wide range of treatments—from facials, laser hair removal, IPL, and chemical peels to gel overlays, waxing, and massages.
Zané
Hair Specialist
Meet Zané, she studied at Serwalo Hair Academy and her apprenticeship at Gary Rom Hairdressing.
She loves the beauty industry, hair styling and colouring, makeup, skincare, and nails.
Her brands of choice are Inoar and Paul Mitchell.
Bothwell
Security Guard
Bothwell is the gentleman who handles our security. He is always at Soma to make sure that your cars and security needs are looked after! He is available to help direct traffic, assist you in the rain and keep an eye on your car.
Thembi
Salon Attendant

I have visited Soma since 2014 when they were still in Lynnwood Road. They then moved to new Muckleneuk which was very convenient for me as this is very close to my house However if they were even moving further away from me I would’ve still visited Soma. Kholo’s friendly service never seems to stop. On top of that, the quality of workmanship, labour and products used are also only the best. Love you guys.

I had the privilege to visit Soma Laser & Skincare Clinic again yesterday for a facial, mani & pedi. This is my monthly treat and I recommend it to everyone out there. Jeanné is very attentive and gentle with her facials and my skin glows after her treatments. Kholo is the master of manicures! Art or plain nails, she is your go-to-girl! Gladys pampers my feet and I walk on clouds afterwards. Briony has managed - with her team - to create a fantastic salon and skincare clinic. Apart from facials, manicures and pedicures, they have a variety of other options available. Briony and her team are extremely knowledgeable and can assist and help with all skincare enquiries. The new laser with the cooler head is a bonus! Both my daughter and I make use of this service. I highly recommend visiting these ladies at their salon, you are in for a superb treat(ment)! A very happy customer.
